6 Things You MUST Include In Your Nursing Resume

So your final nursing college exams are almost around the corner. It’s quite the right time to start preparing your nursing resume. After all, the right resume will help you achieve your career goals. Drop the resume for the job role you want, and that’s it.
Here are six things that the employers usually look for in your resume.

1. Honors or special awards

At times, students get awards and recognitions for their assignments, homework, or overall academic performance. Mention thoseawards in your nursing resume. Doing so will increase the credibility of your application than the other candidates.Your employers would want to know more about your achievements.

2. Homework or assignment grades

You must also include the grades that you have earned in your assignments or homework. Thus, never take your homework for granted. If you aren’t able to do it on your own, get help. Type ‘I want to pay someone to do my homework’ on Google and choose a reliable academic company for the task.

3. Professional affiliations

Nursing students are often associated with professional associations. Some of the popular ones are the American Association of Critical Care Nurses or the Emergency Nurses Association. Include your membership details (if any) in the resume.

4. Specific education details

Do not forget to include the nursing degree that you will achieve after your exam results are out. When you don’t include it, your hiring manager may think you don’t fit their requirements.

5. Availability

Nurses are usually expected to work round the clock. In case you have other plans regarding the shift timings, mention that in your CV. Write about the shifts you are willing to work in. This shows that you are serious about the job, and you know the drill.

6. Computer knowledge

The nursing profession often requires the candidate to know at least the basics of computer science. So write down the computer knowledge you have in your CV. It will increase your employability chances to a great extent.
These six details will make your potential employers believe that you are perfect for the job. Implement these points in mind while preparing your resume. The competition is fierce out there in the nursing industry. Make sure your resume is the best one.
